Hang Seng Indexes Company officially launched the Hang Seng Artificial Intelligence Theme Index on September 25th, aiming to reflect the performance of Hong Kong-listed companies involved in the artificial intelligence technology industry chain. Within the scope of the Hang Seng Composite Index constituents, the index selects the top 40 securities with the highest market capitalization that meet liquidity, industry, and thematic requirements. Among the criteria for inclusion in this index, listed companies' businesses must be highly relevant to the artificial intelligence theme, including core computing resources (specialized computing chips, etc.), artificial intelligence technologies (machine learning, big data, etc.), and artificial intelligence applications (smart living, smart healthcare, etc.).
