Liaoyuan, China - On November 4, 2021, Toumai^® Laparoscopic Surgical Robot (hereinafter referred to as “Toumai^®”) independently researched and developed by Shanghai MicroPort^® MedBot (Group) Co., Ltd.( hereinafter referred to as “MicroPort^® MedBot^® ") was formally introduced with the strong support of Zhang Aimin, President of Liaoyuan City Central Hospital, Jilin Province, Guo Chenyang, Party Secretary and Jin Dayong, Director of Urological Surgery Department, and held a launch ceremony in the hospital, which was attended by Tang Yan, Deputy Mayor of Liaoyuan Municipal Government, Fan Guijuan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Government, Ma Xingtao, Communist Party Secretary and Director of Municipal Health Committee, Wang Ying, Deputy Director of Municipal Health Committee, Lv Zhanxian, Secretary-General of Municipal Medical Association, Liu Yu, Chief Commercial Officer of MicroPort^® MedBot^®. Liaoyuan City Central Hospital also became the first Scientific Research Clinical Validation Center of Toumai^® settled in the Three Northeast Provinces.

All of them have given great support to the introduction of the Toumai®.

MicroPort^® MedBot^® expects to transmit the era value of super intelligent surgery of "precise, safe and efficient" by Chinese-developed intelligent products in the Three Northeast Provinces with the core technology independently researched and developed after the startup of Toumai^® in the hospital.

According to Mr. Liu Yu, Chief Commercial Officer of MicroPort^® MedBot^®, Liaoyuan City Central Hospital is the first clinical verification center for clinical research of Toumai^® in the Three Northeast Provinces.
