MicroPort® MedBot® and the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University Co-establish a Training Center for Surgical Robots

Supported by Urology Society of Chinese Medical Association, Jiangxi Medical Association and Jiangxi Medical Doctors Association,"2021 Robot and Minimally Invasive Urological Surgery Forum and Annual Meeting of Robotics Group of Chinese Urological Association" sponsored by Jiangxi Integrated Medical Association and organized by Urology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, was successfully held in Nanchang. This academic conference gathered nearly 300 international famous experts and domestic top surgical experts to jointly explore the future development of robot minimally invasive surgery, to strengthen the exchanges of urology experts in the form of surgical demonstration and supplemented by special lectures.

 

On the morning of October 16, the opening ceremony of MicroPort® MedBot® Training Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University and the certificate awarding ceremony of the First Urological Robot Surgery Training Course in Jiangxi Province were held in the main hall of the conference. Professor Xu Zhang of Urology Department of General Hospital of PLA, Professor Gongxian Wang, Ting Sun and Bin Fu of Urology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, Professor Chaozhao Liang of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University and Mr. Yu Liu, Chief Commercial Officer of MicroPort® MedBot® attended the opening ceremony.

 

 

南昌大学第一附属医院是全国首批三甲医院之一,以机器人手术为主的高精手术居于世界前列,并连续打破机器人单机年手术量世界纪录。微创®医疗机器人与南昌大学第一附属医院成功举办江西省第一期泌尿外科机器人手术培训班,这是中国首次面向全省地县级医院的手术机器人动物临床实验培训,同时也充分展现了国产图迈®腔镜手术机器人精益求精与匠心智造的性能。

The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University is one of the first batch of grade A and first-class hospitals in China. The high-precision surgery mainly based on robot surgery ranks in the forefront of the world, and continuously breaks the world record of annual operation volume of single robot machine. MicroPort® MedBot® and the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University successfully held the first training class of urological surgery with surgical robot in Jiangxi Province, which was the first clinical experimental training of surgical robot for hospitals at prefectural and county levels in China. Meanwhile, it fully demonstrated the excellence of domestic Toumai® Laparoscopic surgical robot and the excellence and ingenuity of the performance.

MicroPort® MedBot® presented at the Conference with Intelligent Surgical Solution. Its DFVision® 3D Electronic Laparascope obtained the registration certificate of National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in June this year, and the Toumai® Laparoscopic Surgical Robot has entered the stage of registration dossier review. At the same time, MicroPort® Urocare Medical Technology (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd. demonstrated disposable electronic ureteropelvic endoscope. It can reduce the risk of cross infection caused by repeated use, reduce the process of cleaning, disinfection and sterilization, etc., and improve the clinical table changing efficiency. Emerging technologies such as medical robotics will bring more precise, more intelligent, safer, more inclusive and minimally invasive surgical experience to urology, make surgery easier, safer and less invasive.
