Huizhou, China --- Cherish-Your-Knees Free Diagnosis with MedBot® and “Orthopedic Lofty Honghu Aspirations” -- symposium (Huizhou-) on Honghu Orthopedic Joint Surgical Robot , were successfully held in Huizhou First Hospital on May 14, 2022. The free clinic was opened by the speech of Professor Chunhan Sun, assistant dean of Huizhou First Hospital. Professor Ning Liu from the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University, Professor Yuanchen Ma from Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, Professor Haobo Zhong and Professor Weile Liu from Huizhou First Hospital participated in the free clinics, with Professor Huiwu Li from Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine accessed online and jointly participating in the symposium on Honghu Orthopedic Joint Surgical Robot with orthopedic elites from all over Guangdong Province.

 

At the opening ceremony of free clinics, Assistant Dean Chunhan Sun of Huizhou First Hospital delivered a speech, saying: "With the aging of China's population and the development of sports activities, there will be more and more joint diseases and sports injuries. I hope that the present free clinics activity will help the mass citizens and friends’ access in their homes to the diagnosis and treatment services from famous experts of major hospitals in the province, deepen the public understanding of joint diseases and sports injuries and using of their knees healthily in daily life.” Doctors and nurses on the site responded to the patients' consultations patiently and meticulously, gave professional answers and guidances to their joint-related health problems, and popularized the knowledge for protection of knee joints and treatment of joint diseases.

 

At the symposium (Huizhou) on Honghu Orthopedic Joint Surgical Robot, Professor Ning Liu from the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University presided over the academic communication. Mr. Yu Liu, Chief Commercial Officer of MedBot®, accessed online to the site and introduced the company to experts. Professor Huiwu Li from Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine made the report of Design Concept and Technical Advantages of Honghu TKA Surgical Robot; Professor Haobo Zhong, Department of Orthopaedics of Huizhou First Hospital, introduced the surgical case on Honghu Orthopaedics Surgical Robot; Professor Yuanchen Ma from Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital shared the "Robot Shortens the Learning Curve of TKA"; Dexin Zhao, the clinical training manager of MedBot®, introduced Honghu Orthopedic Joint Surgical Robot in detail. Professor Huiwu Li, Professor Ning Liu, Professor Yuanchen Ma, Professor Haobo Zhong and other experts and scholars gathered together and discussed about the new progresses, new achievements and new directions of surgical robots. During the event, a number of doctors conducted a trial operation of Honghu Orthopedic Joint Surgical Robot under the professional guidance of clinical engineers of MedBot®.
